A Thali costs about 120 Thai Bahts(THB). The menu is small thus reflecting that the food would be freshly cooked. For an A la carte menu try starters such as Aloo Tikki & Masala Papad and for main course try curries Vegetable Kofta, although for people looking a place to stay a lodge located in the Borneo Rainforest is perfect for this.

Sri Ganesh Restaurant

If you want to get as taste of South Indian food in Bangkok, try this restaurant. The presentation of food is top notch and a favorite restaurant among the South Indian expats. It serves only pure vegetarian food.

The food here will take you into a gastronomic delight and no doubt you will visit this restaurant again and again during your stay in Bangkok. The friendly service is an added bonus. For veggie try Bhindi Masala and for non-veggie try out Murg Malai Kebab. The rates are average.

Dosa King

Going by the name, this restaurants is really a king in serving dosas. The taste is beyond expectation. It also serves North Indian food, but give it a skip and stick to dosas here.

Its a pure vegetarian restaurant and upon request serves Jain food too. The menu is big – chaat, Chinese, set meals, South Indian, sweets, tandoori and Thai. Skip everything and try the chat and sweets. It’s a self service restaurant.
